The short version. We collect the minimum we need to pick up your laundry, clean it, and bring it back. We don’t sell your data. You can delete your account at any time from this page or inside the app.

1. Who we are

Bubblē (“Bubblē,” “we,” “us,” “our”) operates the Bubblē mobile app, the Bubblē Vendor app for cleaning partners, and the website at bubble-services.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information across all of those surfaces.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account info — name, email, phone number, password (hashed).
  • Addresses & handoff notes — pickup/delivery addresses, apartment numbers, buzzer codes, doorman/contactless preferences.
  • Order details — service type (wash & fold, dry cleaning), item counts, pickup/drop-off windows, messages to your driver or cleaner.
  • Payment info — card details are collected and stored by our payment processor (Stripe); we keep only a tokenized reference, the last four digits, and the card brand.
  • Support messages — anything you write to us by email.

Information collected automatically

  • Device & app data — device model, OS version, app version, crash logs, and performance metrics.
  • Usage data — which screens you view, which features you use, rough timing. We use this to fix bugs and improve the app.
  • Location data — only when you’ve granted permission, and only to show nearby partners and accurate pickup windows. You can revoke location access at any time in your device settings.
  • Cookies (website only) — strictly necessary cookies (session, preferences) and basic analytics. No third-party ad trackers.

Information from partners

  • From your cleaner — order status updates, ready-for-delivery signals, weights or item counts, and any notes they send you.
  • From your driver — pickup and drop-off confirmations, photos of bag handoff, and ETA updates.

3. How we use it

  • To schedule pickups, match you with a nearby partner, coordinate drivers, and deliver your laundry.
  • To process payments and tips through our payment processor.
  • To send order-related notifications (“your bag was picked up,” “your order is ready,” etc.).
  • To fix bugs, measure reliability, and improve the app.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep your account secure.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We don’t sell your data. We don’t rent it. We don’t share it with advertisers.

4. Who we share it with

We share the minimum information required to fulfill your order:

  • Your cleaner (partner shop) — your first name, order details, and any handoff notes needed to complete the job.
  • Your driver — pickup/drop-off address, handoff instructions, and your first name.
  • Service providers — payment processors (Stripe), SMS/email delivery (Twilio, Postmark), crash reporting (Sentry), analytics (privacy-respecting providers), and cloud hosting (Google Cloud, Firebase).
  • Legal or safety reasons — if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety of our users, partners, or team.
  • Business transfers — if Bubblē is acquired, merges, or is part of a sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that transaction (we’ll notify you first).

5. How long we keep it

  • Account info — while your account is active, plus up to 30 days after deletion to close out any outstanding orders.
  • Order records — up to 7 years where required for tax/financial record-keeping, otherwise removed 1 year after delivery.
  • Support messages — up to 2 years after the last message.
  • Payment tokens — removed immediately when you delete a card or your account.

6. Your rights & choices

  • Access & download — request a copy of your data by emailing support@bubble-services.com.
  • Correction — update your name, email, phone, or addresses inside the app.
  • Deletion — delete your account at any time from this page or inside the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account).
  • Marketing opt-out — we only send operational messages by default. Any marketing has an unsubscribe link.
  • Location & notifications — toggle at the OS level at any time.

If you live in California, the EU/UK, or another region with specific privacy laws (CCPA, GDPR, etc.), you have additional rights including the right to object, restrict processing, or file a complaint with your local data protection authority. 7. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, restrict access to personal information on a need-to-know basis, and audit our access logs. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously — if you believe your account has been compromised, email us immediately at support@bubble-services.com.

8. Children

Bubblē is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we’ll delete it promptly.

9. International transfers

Bubblē is operated from the United States. If you use the service from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. By using Bubblē, you consent to that transfer.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we’ll notify you by email or in the app before the changes take effect. We’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top whenever we change this policy.
